Christmas Fun

Andrea, Madelyn, and Maddox came over today for a Christmas cookie playdate. We made my mother's famous M&M cookies, which is one of my favorite Christmas traditions. Well, it sounded like a good idea to let two 1 year-olds help in the kitchen! 

These sweet girls have been friends since before birth, and they are growing up way too fast! Here they are about this time last year...

And yes, Andrea already lapped me and had a second!

Andrea and I finished smocking and sewing the girls' dresses just in time. A few weeks ago we got together for a day of sewing so we could figure some things out together. Thankfully we finished that day, because she called me not long after I left to tell me she was in labor! Here are a few pictures of my progress on Livi's Christmas dress. This was my first try at picture smocking and bead work, and I loved it!
