Thanksgiving

Although we were thankful as always, Thanksgiving just wasn't the same this year. It was our first holiday spent without our precious Momaw, and Thanksgiving was always her favorite. But we did what we knew she would want us to do--enjoy each other and give thanks to the One who gives us life! We started by spending the night with Daddy and Rhetta at their new home in Cullman. One of our traditions is waking up on Thanksgiving and making pancakes together (small ones because we don't want to get too full). Lori is due in a few weeks, and she hasn't been feeling well so she, Lynn, and Andrew weren't able to make the trip. But that's okay, because our sweet Emori will be here soon! After breakfast, we headed to Buddy and Tricia's house for a meal that would definitely make Momaw proud. 

Livi's Aunt Lala gave her the sweetest gift--a handmade teddy bear made from Momaw's favorite pj's. What a special keepsake.

And here is Olivia Mae when she was a few days old being held by her special Momaw, Mae Nell. We miss her so! But we will always give thanks for the time we got to spend with her and all the things she taught us.
