Length: 30.5 inches (50th percentile)
Sleeps: Still 6:30 pm to 6:30 am and naps from noon to 2:00ish. She had a few rough nights when her molars were coming in, but otherwise we don't hear a peep. We have let her stay up later a few nights this summer, but this always proves to be a bad idea when the next day comes. It is much better to stick to her schedule!
Eats: She has 12 teeth, and she eats pretty well. She is starting to have a sweet tooth! She reluctantly gave up her bottle since the last update. I finally just packed them up at around 13 months. Some of her favorite foods are blueberries, watermelon, marshmallows, Pringles, cheese, and yogurt. She's not a huge fan of meat. You know when she's full, because she starts playing with her food and/or throwing it on the floor. We are working on that.
Likes: Sitting in my lap to read (and she insists on picking out the order in which we read her books...she is very particular), light switches, dancing, drinking out of a "real" straw (not the sippy cup kind), coloring with her Color Wonder markers...although she much prefers a pen, buckles, "smelling" mommy's flowers (she actually blows on them...ha!), bubblebaths, shoes, balls, balloons, her paci (*sigh*), baby dolls, swimming...but not in her baby float because that is for babies, and all of a sudden she is attached to her swaddle blankets
Dislikes: Changing her clothes/diaper...still, grocery shopping, the end of bathtime and/or hooded towels...unclear which one is worse
Tricks: Feeds herself with a spoon, puckers to give a kiss, climbs on everything, signs "please" "more" "eat" and "all done," identifies her nose and your nose, gives you a five, nods/shakes her head when you ask her a question (accuracy is questionable :), barks like a dog, puts on her play necklaces and then starts blowing kisses
New words: more ("ma"), ball ("baaall"), dog ("dooog"), bye bye, bubbles, Papaw, hot (while waving her hand)
