So this was the big year for Breckenridge! Actually last year was the year, but our sweet friends postponed it with us since I was expecting. We had such a fun time as always with the Hindmans--Jeff, Tanya, Anna Kate, and Grant. Livi stayed behind since she's not ready for the slopes yet. It was near impossible for us to leave her for a whole week, but she had a blast with Pop and Nan while we were gone! It was SO COLD the first few days in Colorado...like -4 degrees during the day cold. Even the locals were calling it cold! But by the end of the week it was in the 30s, and we were sweating in our ski gear. There is no place like it, and we are already on the countdown to 2013. Thankfully, Livi will be able to start skiing then since she will be turning three! Our favorite things about Breck: priceless time with friends, snow snow snow, Blue Moose hot chocolate, quiet time, countless fireplaces, no need for a car...you can walk everywhere you go, the adorable town full of fun shops, naps, amazing food, Christmas lights, and of course the magnificent slopes
