Sweet Summertime

Even though the AL legislation extended summer break by two weeks (in order to raise tourism revenue), it still went by so quickly! We had so much fun in the sun with our Livi Lou! Here are a few of her highlights:

Cousin time

Staying cool

Sweet cousins

Her favorite indoor activities--dress up and playing with balloons

4th of July celebration at church. She was NOT a fan of the "firetrucks!"

Fun with friends--Chickfila, Summer Blast, and McWane Center

Now it's back to school for us! Bring on the fall...

9 Years Down...

...many more to go!

Happy anniversary to my B!

Summer Sewing

I didn't spend as much time sewing as I would've liked to this summer, but I did end up with a few projects that I absolutely love! Like this dress:

...and my favorite, the back:

This sun suit:

This romper:

And this apron, which I made for a silent auction in honor of a friend who is bravely and fiercely fighting cancer!

I SO enjoyed working on each of these projects at my summer small group

--a crafting group! It was fun meeting new [crafty] friends and seeing what project the girls were working on each week. What fun!!

Celebrating Daddy

It's plain to see this girl adores her Daddy, so today we celebrate him!

I'm so thankful for the way he loves his girls!

Happy Father's Day, B!

Livi Lately

Grocery shopping with Mommy

(Why can't all stores have these magical cars?!)

Cooling off with her new water table

Livi's favorite--the slide

Another favorite--dress up!

Playing with her cars in her high heels, Ha!

School's Out for Summer

I finished up the school year yesterday, so to celebrate the first day of summer we headed to the pool! Livi and her friend, Madelyn, had a ball. My first year as a school system OT was a blessing in SO many ways, and I am so thankful for the opportunity and for each of my precious students! It is such an honor to serve 80+ children with special needs in our area. I will miss them this summer, but for now it's time to enjoy some summer fun!
